If you just want to turn up to a class, Espaço Leve Alma runs one six mornings a week in Bairro Concha, at R$70 for a single class. Pick a morning, book the class and walk up to your mat. No package, no sign-up, no fixed group. At Espaço Leve Alma, classes happen on a wooden deck, covered and open air, under the trees at Pousada Tikuna, Rua Bromélia, 11, in Bairro Concha. It's a few minutes' walk uphill from Praia da Concha. The timetable: - **Power Vinyasa:** Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 to 9:00, and Saturday, 8:00 to 9:30. On the first Saturday of the month, class ends with a sound bath. Breath tied to a moving sequence. - **Yoga Sculpt:** Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 to 10:30. Flowing sequences with music and light hand weights. It's the only public Yoga Sculpt class in Itacaré. - **Sunday:** the deck rests. Classes are taught in English, Portuguese or both, depending on the group, and beginners are welcome: options are called out loud as the class goes. Mats, blocks and the hand weights are on the deck. You bring water, a towel and clothes you can move in. A single class is R$70. If you're here for a week, the 4-class pack is R$220, to use within 30 days. To pay in cash or by Pix, message the studio on WhatsApp (+55 73 99926-1285). ## Yoga retreats A retreat is a package: you book ahead and get lodging, meals and daily practice on the organiser's programme. In October 2026, the Itacaré retreats listed on one of the main retreat booking sites ran from 3 to 12 days, all with accommodation and three meals a day. Prices vary a lot and change every season, so check with the organiser before you commit. A retreat makes sense when you want the whole trip to revolve around practice and would rather not think about logistics. If you'd rather plan your own days and mix beach, trails and yoga at your own pace, drop-in classes give you that. If you run a retreat, a surf camp or an event and need somewhere to teach, Espaço Leve Alma hosts groups to order. Send the date, the number of people and the language, and the studio will send a quote. ## Private teachers A private class is for a time outside the regular timetable, a class for two, or a group of friends on their own. Before you book with any teacher, it's worth asking: - What language is the class in? - Where does it happen, and who brings the mats? - Is the price per person or per class? - What style do they teach? At Espaço Leve Alma, privates happen on the deck, outside the regular timetable: Power Vinyasa, Yoga Sculpt, or a flow built around whatever you're working on. For one or two people it's R$200 a class. For a group of 3 to 10 it's R$70 each. The details are on the [private classes](https://espacolevealma.com.br/prices/) page. ## Tips for practising in Itacaré - **Mornings are the time.** Classes start early, before the midday heat and in time to head to the beach afterwards. - **Rain doesn't automatically cancel class.** The deck is covered. In heavy rain, any change goes out on WhatsApp and Instagram before class. - **Surfed this morning?** Power Vinyasa works well after a session, and Yoga Sculpt on the flat days. Classes are small, and booking on the calendar takes a minute. If a class is full, join the waitlist and you'll get an email if a mat opens. **Does the 4-class pack work for both classes?** Yes. The four classes can be Power Vinyasa, Yoga Sculpt or a mix of both, within 30 days. **Is there yoga in Itacaré on Sundays?** Not at Espaço Leve Alma: classes run Monday to Saturday, and the deck rests on Sunday. **Do you host visiting retreats and groups?** Yes.
